Facilities
Lower Wood Farm is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location site in Norfolk and boasts a superb indoor swimming pool and games room.
These excellent facilities have been constructed in the style of the existing farm buildings.
The pool is 4.5 metres by 12.5 metres and is 1.2 metres deep. Wide steps ensure safe entry into the pool, which is maintained at a pleasant 31℃. The underfloor heating and air conditioning combine to ensure a year-round tropical ambience and include changing cubicles, a shower and a toilet.
For those quiet moments, there are benches where you can sit and enjoy the views across the open countryside.
Lower Wood Farm has footpaths leading to Mautby, West Caister and through the marshes to the River Bure. Wildlife on the marshes includes barn owls, deer, kingfishers, woodpeckers, hawks, ducks and geese and many more!
Indoor Heated Swimming Pool
In a bright glass-sided building designed in the style of existing farm buildings, the pool is the “jewel in the crown” of Lower Wood Farm.
With a 31℃ pool temperature, under-floor heating and air-conditioning there is a tropical ambience all year round.
Wide steps ensure safe entry to the 12.5 by 4.5-metre pool.
The changing area has cubicles, a shower, and a toilet. The swimming pool is unsupervised so you are required to comply with our health and safety rules.
The Play Barn & Relax
The Play Barn and guest sun lounge were opened for Easter 2011.
Like the swimming pool, its building is in keeping with the surrounding farm buildings.
The play barn is equipped with games, puzzles, table tennis, a football table and a pool table.
Bi-fold doors open onto the grassed outdoor play area with a football pitch, cricket and mini putting green.
The warm atmosphere we set out to create means many of our guests have become firm friends after meeting at Lower Wood Farm, returning year after year.
